Gran Turismo 2

Gran Turismo 2 was the most awaited game of 2000. Everyone wanted it, because it's predecessor was such great game. I didn't have the original, but I played it, which is why I bought the sequel.

It comes on two discs, one for arcade and the other for simulation. I've completed the arcade version, but before you can you need to obtain all the licenses in the simulation part. This isn't as hard as it was in the original, if you sit down and concentrate it can be down in a couple of hours (maybe more). The Arcade disc is a good place to start. because you get to try out many of the different cars which you will use in the simulation game without really needing much experience.

Once you move over to the simulation disc the game becomes a whole lot more difficult, because you can't just choose any old car, you have to buy one. You are given 10,000 credits to start with. I recommend buying a used Honda prelude, as this is a quick mover to begin with and can beat most of the other cars easily in the early races for you to build your so you can either tune up this car or buy a new car. If you can manage to save up 2,000,000 credits I recommend you to buy the Suzuki Special car - Escudo. This car comes pre-tuned up to over 900 horsepower!! This may sound like it will be difficult to maneuver, but it really isn't all that bad! With a little practice you'll be the best at the game, especially if you get this car.

I can't wait for the sequel to be released (Gran Turismo 3, it's surprisingly named). I'm not sure when it's released, but I have a little problem about getting this game, I don't have PlayStation 2 to play it on. Hey I could just boast about having it.
